Are the keyboards different on UK iPhone 16 to those in the U

Above my keyboard there is no symbol to customise a text message, but a video I watched the man was customising a message using the symbol above the keyboard on his iPhone 16.

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18

So you are missing the “A” in the picture below? I think all countries have it, but it is not available with SMS, if that is what you are trying.

There are plenty of third-party keyboard apps available on the App Store. You may try some of them.
