Unable to use iMessage without a SIM
I can’t iMessage without a sim. My Message settings just say my Apple ID and not letting me sign in. Please Help.

To sign into iMessage on an iPhone, the phone needs to be able to send an international SMS. It can't do that without a SIM. You can try putting an active SIM into the phone (borrowed from a working phone) and setting it up. That may work for a while. However, if the phone is ever without a data connection for more than a short time, you'll get logged out. And it also seems that Messages has to send that SMS periodically to continue to stay logged in.
