Should I leave my MacBook Air plugged in if I won't be using it for two weeks?

I will be away for about two weeks and will not be using my MacBook Air during that time. I had planned to shut it down. Should I leave it plugged in?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.7

The Mac itself would be fine left plugged in. But there's a tiny chance with any powered device of something overheating and causing damage or even in an extreme case a fire. So I tend to err on the side of caution (quite probably I am being overcautious) and where practical I unplug any device that's going to be off while I'm gone.

Regards.
