Bluetooth connection issues on iPhone 16 Pro

just upgrade to the iphone 16 pro and bluetooth is stuttering with any devices, and doesn’t want to connect 90% of the time. Carplay, Garnin, Headphones.

I’ve tried turning off bluetooth, hard reset on the phone and still no luck….

After many attempts, my iPhone 16 Plus Bluetooth disconnection problem was finally restored. The cause of the problem was that my iPhone had turned on the airdrop automatic connection switch. When it was in an environment with many MacBook Pros (such as in a company office), this bug would be triggered, that is, the iPhone's Bluetooth could not connect to any device. When I turned off the airdrop automatic connection switch and restarted the phone, my iPhone's Bluetooth connection function returned to normal. I hope my solution can help you.

Interesting! Are you talking about the "Bringing Devices Together" toggle under "Start Sharing By," at Settings → AirDrop, or was it something else?

I'll have to play with this. (If I recall correctly, iOS 18 added "Tap to Cash," etc., right? Maybe that setting was changed to on by default to support new features like that, when they involve holding two phones together.)

What did the manufacturer of this device suggest when you hopefully contacted them about your issue? It's more likely an issue with the device, than an issue with your phone.

The device (Anker Soundbuds Curve) works perfectly with everything else I can find - my old iPhone, my wife's phone, my kids' phones, my MacBook.

I doubt there's something magically wrong with the earphones that doesn't affect anything else except for connecting with this new iphone 16 that hundreds of other people are also having problems connecting with.

I cannot connect to my Marshall Middleton speaker. Actually, the iPhone bluetooth says it's connected, and the Marshall app can see my iPhone, but the music continues to play through the iPhone's speakers, while the Marshall app says "no media".

So following all the forget and re-connect options, still nothing.

Apparently, we are once again Beta for immature Apple equipment and/or software.

Disappointing!

PS. My wireless Apple CarPlay is quirky as well, so I am going to resort to a hard connection in the car.

I also tried resetting all settings, no effect. This happens with all Bluetooth speakers, even with AirPods. When I am in a call, it disconnects, the connection comes back after 5 seconds and this happens every 20 seconds then. It also happens with different brand models, tried in a ford and Audi with wireless CarPlay - same issue everywhere. When I connect with a cable everything works fine.

I just re rolled for a new iphone 16 from 14, and the bluetooth connection are just disconnecting the mic in the car connection within minutes. I can switch to speaker on the active call, and then we can speak again. it every time. It updated to newest ios. Apple please look into this issue. I've had several iphones over the years, and the same car stereo. never any issue before now

iphone16 only will connect to airpods pro2, it can see my M1 macbook pro 16 but macbook can't see the phone, and if I try to pair phone gives message"Mac's16 Macbook pro" is not supported. It fails to see any other BT devices I have, tried reset network, on off's etc, nothing. My old iphone 11 worked flawlessly, Phone and lappy are updated to latest Ios. NOT alone with this Apple and NOT HAPPY

iPhone has NEVER paired with a computer via Bluetooth, Mac or otherwise. When you have your AirPods and want to use them on your MacBook Pro, tap the Bluetooth icon at the top of the MacBook screen and look for your AirPods and then tap them to use them on your Mac.
