Having Wi-Fi issue in my iPhone 12 Pro Max after updating to new iOS

Hello Everyone I have a question I upgraded my iPhone 12 Pro Max to the new ios and I’m having WiFi issues such as slow WiFi disconnects and even my battery is dying a lot faster I wanted to know if anyone else had that problem and how do I fix it because support doesn’t help and I can relay only on the community

Had similar issues on upgrading to new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Initial restoration went fine and then WiFi would not connect/stay turned on. Used online Support chat and they could not resolve. Went for Genius Bar appointment and Apple technician resolved within minutes - had installed Microsoft Defender which was toggled on to Connect On Demand. This was blocking all apps downloads. Changed toggle/switched off and eureka, now connecting and downloading. Good luck to all.

same here, every video I saw on YouTube said to try some BS that I knew would not work, "resetting phone or Wi-Fi settings" and whatnot. So I look at my pc Wi-Fi setting and turn on mobile hotspot. Everything worked fine. Then the next day I use the regular Wi-Fi, "not the hotspot" and it would finally stay connected. Not sure why this worked but it did and I’m not complaining.

Updated to IOS 18 on my iPhone 15 pro and it has been a disappointment. Constant wifi/internet issues, App store wont load or slow and find my iPhone is broken. Only fix I find is to repeatedly force restart.

As a consumer I was prepared to pay more for Apple as it was known for its reliability. But overtime I think the quality has slipped and is now overpriced.

iPhone 12 Pro and I just started having wifi issues when upgrading to iOS 18.


my cellular connection at home is horrible so when the wifi does not work my phone feels like it had no connection at all. Multiple ubiquiti APs covering my home, so the coverage for wifi issues not the issue. Every now and then I have to turn wifi off and on and try to get it to work again.


this happened zero times before upgrading, no changes to my home network and all other devices work fine.

I too am having wifi issues!! It says I’m connected, but every once in a while there are glitches, freezes, etc. I can’t use any apps or webpages without it freezing. Support had me restart my network settings but that didn’t work, they did a diagnostic run for 24 hours and that also didn’t work. It’s getting frustrating because I work from my phone and can’t get anything to work without it pausing to load every 30 seconds.
