Wi-Fi constantly disconnecting and reconnecting on my iPhone

I’ve updated my previous iPhone 13 to iOs 18.1, I have constantly issues with my Wifi. It connects for like 5 seconds, then it disconnects, and then it connects again for 5 seconds, then it disconnets, and so on. I already tried restarting my iPhone, forgetting Wifi and trying to connect again, however, neither have worked.

It is actually pmo because my Wifi actually stops working for a few seconds when it disconnects and goes into this 5G UW mode. I wouldn’t care if it would happen every 30 minutes but it literally happens every like 10-ish seconds so I barely have time to do anything because my phone is constantly trying to either connect to the WiFi or connect to the 5G mode. Can someone help me or help me figure out why this is happening? Thanks.

I don't know how you could update your iP13 to iOS 18.1, 'cause the current official version for that model is 18.5 (I suggest that you update your device to the latest available version).

If the issue persists, I would try to:

  • Turn off all your devices
  • Turn off your modem router for at least 1 minute
  • Turn it back on and wait for its complete auto-configuration
  • Turn your iP13 back on and make sure it is connected to your wifi-network.
  • Test it

If the issue still persists, I'd contact Apple support directly, using this link:--> Contact - Official Apple Support

It sounds like you may have a failing battery.

Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging.

You can expect about a 1% drop per 50 charging cycles (25 charging cycles for IPhone 14 and older) with average use on an iPhone. This is an approximation, that is why it may be plus or minus a few percent on a month to month basis.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
