How do I fix Wi-Fi connection issue on my iPhone 17 Pro?

iPhone 17 pro will NOT reconnect to known networks! When I walk out of the house and return the WiFi will not reconnect even though it’s a known network. This happens whenever I connect to a known WiFi network and then attempt to reconnect! Never had this problem on my 11 Pro Max!

Perhaps a long shot:

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.

I'm having many issues with WiFi on my 17 Pro Max. Followed all the steps everywhere: VPN profiles deleted, Static IP's created on my home WiFi network, upgraded to iOS 26.1, turned off my Apple Watch and took it off my wrist, triple checked and configured DNS's that work, etc. The WiFi has a mind of its own, it seems. When it works, it's great, but it really doesn't like a lot of networks. Since this community is forced to be on Century Link/Quantum Fiber, the routers are still on WPA2/AES while Apple recommends WPA3, which triggers the WiFi on the phone to freak out about the level of security in my home network. I also live by a regional airport, so if WiFi doesn't work at home, I'm basically out of coverage. Apple needs to fix this super fast. It's getting ludicrous.

I just got my iPhone 17 pro max I had the same issues with it the WiFi the glitch with voice mail and glitches on messenger. After 5 days of going to Tmobile and getting nowhere at all and on the iPhone fighting with them. I went to Apple at crossgates mall it’s a bug so what Apple did was the reset my phone in only had my messages my music and pics. I had to redo my apps and email but the WiFi is working glitch to the voicemail is glitch free messages some glitch but not as much have to wait it out for the Next 4-8 weeks when they send the new software update. My advice before downloading the new update clear your cache then download the latest update it’s so much easier and less of a headache. I hope this helps !!
