Crackling sound on AirPods Pro 2 while on phone calls

I recently updated to the latest iOS update which is iOS 18 and I’m starting to get a crackling sound on my AirPods Pro 2 only while on a call (both WhatsApp and mobile calls)

this started only after I upgraded to iOS 18 and I have replaced my AirPods for new ones and I’m still having the same issue with my new AirPods

im currently using an iPhone 11

pls help fix this
