how do i turn off always on Home Screen iOS 18 iphone 14

With the new iOS 18 my iPhone 14’s Home Screen is always on. I’d like to turn it off but there is no toggle to do it now.

How do I get back to the home screen I finally upgraded to a newer iPhone from my iPhone 6, and I am getting used to some quirks associated with no home button. How do I get back to the home screen from any the other screen? As an aside, Apple’s decision to have people half swipe and then fully swipe apps off a phone is very annoying. Although I suppose I can see that if you want keep your apps open and switch back-and-forth between them.

If you have a iPhone 14 Pro, go to Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Always On Display (it should be the second to the last option).
