Satellite Not Available iOS 18 iPhone 16 Pro

You can only connect to a satellite with your iPhone when you are somewhere with no cellular and Wi-Fi coverage. If you turn the Wi-Fi and cellular off, connecting to a satellite will not work.

I live in San Francisco, USA. My iPhone is not an iPhone 14 or later and doesn't have the satellite connectivity feature.

From what I have found from the article Connect to a satellite with your iPhone - Apple Support,

If you have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, the Satellite option in Settings won't appear and the Satellite option in Control Center opens the Satellite Connection Demo.

If you have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, the Satellite option will show "Not Available." Perhaps you can try the Satellite Demo Feature in the meantime.
