Alternative glass options for iPhones

Maybe this is the wrong place for this but I was wondering if there is an alternative glass for iPhone screens that I could apply. Will the touch screen work through gorilla glass or something else? I don’t care about warranty, I’ve done glass replacements before I just want my old iPhone XR to not crack if I look at it funny.
