Apple + streaming service how do I get rid of closed captions. Already turned it off in tools.

I closed captions just started in the middle of a show and I can’t stop it. Turned off cc in tools but it atill appears. Help!

Select the subtitles icon above the right side of the scrub / progress bar and then choose the "Off" option there.

Also, Closed Captions has a default for new videos in Accessibility Settings.

I am on a Samsung TV streaming Apple+ and I went to tools and chose OFF for closed caption . Twice actually. No go.

I am watching an English language movie and 10 minutes into the moviie closed captions in English appears. I am stumped.
