UPS box delivered new iphone in a unsealed -opened box, iphone looks ok ( but uses 78gb more storage than old phone even though I lost files ) is it possible new iphone has been been tampered with or have a security issue? Its alot of work to exchange for another one. UPS delivery person couldn’t explain why package was opened.

If the actual iPhone box itself was not sealed with the paper tabs on the back, you should definitely complain to whomever you purchased it from, whether that's the Apple Store, your carrier or a third-party store.
I can tell you every iPhone delivered directly from Apple has the seals intact; I tore them off the box for my 16 PM myself.
Storage usage varies by device type and version of iOS and is not directly indicative of anything wrong, though 78 GB seems excessive.

Thanks, I think apple box tape still taped ( but it was inside) that could of easily been re-sealed & white cover -over top was missing, Its unsettling to have a new device delivered in a opened/unsealed box. So much for apple security. I shouldn’t if taken the delivery
