Hi, I have recently purchased iPhone 16. I transferred all my data from my old Samsung phone s22 including WhatsApp data. The problem is that my WhatsApp desktop app logged out and when I try to log in and scan the QR code, it says unexpected error. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the desktop WhatsApp app but did not work. Is there a solution to this ? Thanks

I also have this problem. It's not WhatsApp's fault; it's the iPhone 16 device or iOS 18 software. Other iPhone versions connect without problems. This issue only occurs with the iPhone 16 and WhatsApp Desktop.
WhatsApp is not an Apple app.
