My iPhone 13 Pro Max 0.5x zoom is not working

Hi, ive had my iPhone 13 Pro Max since July 2022, and I've had it replaced by Apple in Oct 2022 because of a battery issue (was an unknown part), and November of the same year I had a notification show up that my camera was an unknown part too. Ever since then, my 0.5x zoom wasn't working. on the rare occasion, it will work but very rare and I want to know if I'd need to replace it again or just get a new phone. It's just a massive issue, but it's more of a concern of why is it happening twice with the "unknown part".

These are screenshots of the message I had in 2022 and what options I have on my camera right now.

This Unknown Part message can appear if your iPhone replacement part was non-genuine or not functioning as expected. Since you stated you had your iPhone repaired by Apple, there must have been an issue with the repair.

According to Apple, an Unknown message can appear for several reasons, including when the replacement part:

  • Is non-genuine
  • Isn't functioning as expected
  • Hasn't been verified and linked to your iPhone after the repair was completed
  • Has been modified or is otherwise unable to be verified

You should take your iPhone to your nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have it taken a look at. ⚛️
