Photos from old iPhone! ?

Ok need Help ! I’m going to give my daughter my old iPhone and I already have all my photos on my new iPhone! If I Erase the photos on my old iPhone! Are they still available on my new phone and iCloud?

Old phone and new phone Hi everyone, I just got my new iPhone 15, and she is a beauty. On my old iPhone 11, I have about 4000 photos of my kid from the last 5 years. They are synced to the icloud. Now I turned on my new phone and it asked to take over settings from my old phone. I said yes and now it is exactly like my old phone (apps, photos etc). I have logged in to the cloud with this new phone and set it as my main phone now. I also took out the simcard and put it in the new phone. Now I want to give away my iphone 11 but what can I do with all these photos? If I delete them from my iPhone 11, will they be deleted from the cloud? Do I lose everything? Since it's pictures of my child and all our memories, I want to make absolutely sure I can reset the phone.

How do I recover missing photos after iPhone 12 mini setup? I was setting up a new iPhone 12 Mini. I got a notification on my old iPhone saying that I can set it up with my Apple account and I proceeded. Everything worked out fine but after awhile I saw that there were some missing photos. Luckily I still have my old phone with the extra 900 photos and videos that didn’t get transferred. I’m wondering why the images didn’t get transferred and what I can do to bring them onto my new phone. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You need to change the Apple ID on the old phone. If you don't, then this old phone will just as much in charge of your pictures as the new phone. So get her an ID of her own, and delete the pictures.

(Apparently, Apple ID is now called Apple Account. Hmm)
