Why do my iPhone apps disappear when I click them on my iPhone?

On my iPhone when I click on an app, it disappears from the screen

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

The app crashes. Does this occur just for one app? If so, uninstall it, restart your iPhone and reinstall the app.
