Apple watch series 10 running IOS 11.0 draining battery life.

I recently bought an apple watch series 10, titanium 46mm. I have it fully charged every morning, I wake up at 6am and put on my watch. By 3pm I only have 15% battery life remaining. I do not have the "always on display" on, I do not have "enable handoff" on, I do not have any apps refreshing in the background. I used to have a series 7 that lasted all day and well into the evening with all those other things turned on. SO...why is the battery lasting less than 12 hours?

I got my Series 10 on Friday, paired it Saturday, and after power cycling it Sunday and Monday, it is sipping battery and at the end of the day, I have lots of charge left. I do a quick charge, and then sleep monitoring over night, and I have at least 85% battery in the morning.

It will take 24-48 hours for the new operating system to finish it house keeping, as well as resync things it wants from the iPhone. Power cycle the Apple Watch and your iPhone (at least once, but maybe once or twice a day until the Apple Watch battery consumption returns to normal. As a point of reference, my Apple Watch Series 4 with 90% battery health maximum capacity, was back to normal after 24 hours (watchOS 10.5). I did 1 mid-day recharge, and I power cycled my Apple Watch and iPhone twice.
