Limit maximum iPad speaker volume

I would like to somehow prevent the external speakers on an iPad from being turned up past a certain percentage. I would also like to be able to protect/prevent this setting from being changed.

For example, as the user pushes the volume up control on the side, the volume increases until the percentage set is reached.

And thats it.

Guided access will not do this. The user still needs to use their iPad normally.

Screentime content restrictions-reduce loud sounds does not accomplish this.

There are no apps (that I can find) or other settings.

Please, can someone help? I see this is asked all over here and reddit, there has to be a way to get this added if it is currently not possible!!!

The iPad doesn’t have any settings to limit the iPad loudspeaker volume. You are not the first - and are perhaps unlikely to be the last - to look for settings to limit the volume of an iPad.

Apple does invite submission of feature requests via its Product Feedback portal. For iPad and iPadOS:

Your frustration is fully understood - similar observations/complaints from parents of the Autistic being seen within these forums with some regularity.

Submissions made via the Feedback portal rarely receive personal response or acknowledgement. However, we are assured that all submissions are logged and forwarded to the appropriate team(s) within Apple.

I have submitted this numerous times using the feedback form, however I never hear back and it is never implemented.

This isnt for a frivolous or lazy reason, I have an autistic child and it can be quite the challenge. Being able to limit volume would be a near godsend.

I was hoping someone had developed an app as this is a huge issue in The autism community, but no luck. I hoped asking again might get the right attention at the right time.
