How to decompress Zip Files on my iPad

I have downloaded a file which is a zip. I have followed the instructions. Nope doesn't give me the decompress option. I have deleted the file, updated my iPad, downloaded the file and tried again. Still no decompress option. I am going crazy here. Help

No. When you tap on the zip file to open it in the Files app, it should automatically produce a folder with the decompressed contents of the zip file, without any further prompt.

If you press and hold on the zip, it should pop up a menu with an "Uncompress" option.

Other apps may act differently.
