Case cover for my MacBook Air without obstructing USB-C port.

trying to purchase a cover for a macbook air crystal clear that will not obstruct the usb-c ports that limit being able to use ALL usb-c cables. problem is the model number on this Mac is Z161000Q4LL/A, but all the models I have been able to find on after market covers are only one letter an 4 digits ex.A1234. how Does one find this number on my MacBook Air

That does not appear to be a valid Apple model number.

Click the  menu and select ‘About this Mac’.

What does it say there?

More specific to John Galt's comment -- I have seen both mechanical and thermal damage due to installation of such covers or cases. Instead I would look for a soft sleeve in which the Mac will fit to be protected when moved around, when the Mac is turned off (powered down -- this prevents overheating which can happen if instead of powered down the Mac is sleeping when inserted in such a sleeve). The right sleeve will hold the laptop without putting any stress on it, will be fairly thin so as to not impair portability, and will have some padding to protect the laptop from impacts or jarring. Apple used to sell these in the Apple Store, not sure they still do.
