Mac 24" Sonoma 14.6.1 — Contacts has my master list. I have created other smaller lists. I'm trying to remove a name from a smaller list. I select the name, but "Remove from list" under Edit is grayed out.??

Is it a Smart List? You can't remove items from Smart Lists.
Thank you! So glad for you and the many others who are available to help those of us that get stuck on Apple things. I've been Apple for nearly 40 years but still get puzzled by the multitude of questions that occasionally arise. Again, thanks for the time you spend helping others.
