I recently used up all of my iCloud space. I deleted all my messsges across all devices to free up space. It still shows I have 50gb in my messsges when I deleted all of them. How can I get iCloud to resync and free up space? Thanks so much!

They will remain in the Recently Deleted folder for 30 days in case you change your mind. To permanently delete them before that time, remove them from this folder.

Hi Jim - thanks for your response. I did what you said and cleared them. I had 50gb in recent conversations, now it is showing 2gb. But my messages still shows 50gbs in iCloud. I made sure to delete on IPad as well. Any idea why it did not update on iCloud now? Thank you!
