Apple Watch SE. OS 11.0 (GPS) Theater mode is off. It will wake when I tap the face, and when I touch the crown button wheel. I dropped the watch a while ago, could something have broken then?

You can check in the settings: iPhone —> Watch App —> Display and Brightness —> Wake on Wrist Rise. Make sure that the setting is turned on.
Hope this helps, otherwise you might try a soft restart: Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown until the screen turns black and the Apple logo reappears, then release both buttons. Your watch might take a few moments to restart.
