Cancelling subscription pending for renewal on App Store.

Daily failed debit attempts for past subscriptions. Because the payment has not gone through they are not showing on my subscription tab on my App Store. So there is NO WAY to CANCEL them until the funds have already been removed from my accountDaily failed debit attempts for past subscriptions. Because the payment has not gone through they are not showing on my subscription tab on my App Store. So there is NO WAY to CANCEL them until the funds have already been removed from my account. So I have had issues the last month or so. I kept getting failed charges from apple on my checking account. So I went to my App Store>subscriptions and there was nothing listed for the amounts posted/ subscriptions. so I finally got money in my account and poof Apple takes it for these pending charges and once the debits are completed the subscriptions have now appeared in my App Store. I tried to be proactive once I seen the pending charges but had no way through the apple system to prevent the charges unless I spent the extensive time to email/ make contact with apple to hopefully not get charged for a subscription(s) that I should have had the visibility and ability to cancel while the charge had not even debited from my account. Am I missing something? Assistance is greatly appreciated

Cancel only works if a subscription is actually running. You tried to subscribe (or a free trial ended, at which point it turns into a paid subscription automatically) but then it was flagged as pending because you did not have enough money to actually start the subscription. At that point you are committed to actually paying. You cannot cancel until the subscription truly starts.

Now that the subscription has started you should be able to cancel it. You can ask for a refund if you wish to try for one. Confirm you have canceled any subscription automatic renewal (if you simply delete an app this does not cancel subscriptions):

Notes:

• "If you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends."

• An existing subscription will normally continue until the end of its term and may then renew automatically. Stopping automatic renewal is effectively canceling it. "If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew." The "Expires" date means the current subscription will just run until then. • Canceling a subscription does not automatically start a refund.

If there is not enough money for a purchase it will show as pending until you add money. It is now too late to cancel the subscription, until you add the money to pay for the current subscription that you have already agreed to. You will not be able to download/update apps while you owe money. When you use a free trial, you will want to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. The cancel button is available until the trial period ends. The only reason why you did not see the cancel button is because you waited too long to cancel and the charge was already attempted and there was not enough money, so it is showing pending.
