Unfortunately, you can't buy AppleCare+ on September 28th, 2023 if your MacBook Air M1 warranty expires on January 1st, 2025.

You have 60 days from the original purchase date of your MacBook Air to buy AppleCare+. Since your warranty expires on January 1st, 2025, your purchase date was likely around November 1st, 2022. This means the window to purchase AppleCare+ has already closed.

I'll wait for response from APPLE TEAM.

Instead of purchasing “AppleCare” for hypothetical purposes you can first call around to LOCAL repair shops to find out whether they can repair the devices you have now using genuine OEM Apple parts. Many times it comes with a warranty for the repair work done as well.

“Applecare” quoted me $419 to repair a screen on my iPad whereas a local repair shop that could purchase original apple screens quoted me $199.00. Big difference.

I could have repaired it myself frankly but since I rarely break my devices I didn’t want to invest in the heating pads and other tools required to fix it.

I still have an iPhone 3s, an iPad 4th generation and currently have an iPhone 8 Plus as well as an iPad 8th generation all in perfect condition, not a single scratch and all still work. It is unlikely that these devices will go bad in their own if you take care of them and get decent covers for them. When you buy a cover and/or screen protector don’t go for style go for shock protection and be careful with it. Since roughly 2009 I have only had to buy a new phone and iPad ONCE. Largely because Apple stops supporting devices after a certain timeframe otherwise I would still be able to have full use of the original two devices.

Another Note…

Most basic trouble shooting can be addressed and solved by watching YouTube tutorials. For defects Apple is required to replace faulty equipment under consumer laws. Honestly you shouldn’t ever have any issues with Apple devices unless you physically break them.
