Is there a way to revert just the Calculator App back to the iOS 17 version?

Of course it's not impossible to retrain muscle memory. It just requires intention. Slow down to the point where you can pay attention to what you're doing, and you don't make mistakes. It should only take a few days of this before you begin to get used to things.

Seriously? Did you read any of this thread before posting? Particularly all the posts that explained Apple doesn't read here and giving you the feedback link?

I had to download another calculator App and remove the Apple one.

So, problem solved.

You can change the Apple Calculator to RPN Mode...

I also hate it which what brought me here looking for a way to revert it. I did find if you multiply your total it will give for you tip amount.

Go to the App Store and search “calculator”. Scroll down until you see “Calculator %” and click the download icon.

then delete the faulty one.

Yeah, and then you have to do too much work by going back and adding it up again. Why can’t they just leave things alone?! Apple: stop breaking things!!!

New calculator is painful to use.

Last time I had to write out full calculation was in 3rd grade on a chalk board.

As far as I now there's no way on returning to the old calculator, try to styled it simpler

It is not possible to please all of the people all the time.

PCalc is certainly not the only other calculator option. Have you spent any time exploring options? There are HP emulators, for example.

Don't get me going on what they did to iTunes. Music is unusable.

Though they did put the + sign back in the search bar in Safari so one can add a page to the reading list.
