Since Sequoia I can no longer get the Emoji & Symbols to appear. I used to use Shortcut Cntrl /Option /Space to bring these up. I said yes to the CHAT GPT shortcut. Could this have caused this problem? I have the Globe Shortcut enabled in Settings but this is not working either.

FINALLY found the cause to the same issue I've been having related to this. Turns out that our WebRoot Antivirus has a "Secure Keyboard Entry" enabled by default if you Click the Webroot SecureAnywhere icon in the menu bar and then Pause Secure Keyboard Entry It WORKS again.
You can disable this in the SecureAnywhere - Advanced Settings, but you'll get a warning about being vulnerable.

That actually did it for me, after I had first installed 15.2. - did everything I could and gave up rebooting and this worked. --> emojis are back 😄

Where wasn't it working? Mine is only on Calendar 15.5.
Don't have it. Besides I have the same VPN I have used for years & do not run it all the time. So that is not the solution for everyone.
