iPhone 16 Pro case that protects the buttons from accidental pushes???

Hello,

Don't know about others, but I am apparently a master at accidentally pressing every button on the side of my iPhone when I try and put it in my pocket. Every year I delete dozens if not hundreds of accidental photos and lately I have somehow been turning my alerts or rings down (very annoying not to hear calls, alerts and reminders). I desperately need a case that has recesses where the buttons are so they cannot accidentally be pushed as much as I manage to do so. Has anyone found such cases? I just ordered a 16Pro, so would want to get a new MagSafe compatible such case for it. I'd also just like to hear from others to see if I am alone in doing this or is this is a source of frustration for others as well. Love my iPhones, but would love them more if not for this one design issue. Will be ever so grateful. Thank you in advance!

Brilliant!! I saw a friend of mine with his phone in his hand and it had indentations where the buttons were! I forgot to ask him about it when our conversation was through, so I texted him to ask him the make/model of his case because I had been looking for one with such 'button protection'. He responded with a 🤣. He said it was just a regular case that was so cheap that the buttons fell off of it! Chuckled then popped my buttons off the case and voila! No more accidental pushes when pocketing my phone and I can still get to the buttons with my fingers when I intend it. Might have to change a few things around a bit, but it will be well worth it to not always have my settings out of sort or having to get rid of so many nothing-photos. LOL. Works for me. 😀

Thanks. I used to use a holster (but only ones with belt loops) and switched to pockets when pants started coming with dedicated phone pockets. I like the idea of a dedicated phone pocket, but what I am experiencing is indeed a draw back. That is why I was looking for a case solution. I have seen them in the past. They didn't necessarily make the buttons harder to push, only less likely to be pushed unintentionally. Mostly, they made the buttons a bit recessed relative to the case. They were still easy to push with intent, but if you slid your finger along the edge, you wouldn't push the button unless you pushed down further in the indentions. Can't seem to find them any more. This makes me curious whether this is truly a universal problem or if I am just an outlier. I'll check out the Encased line-up. Thanks for the input.

Thanks, SravanKra. If there is a solution there I did not find it. Were you intending to link a specific case? I looked at cases from a large variety of sources prior to posting (including Apple). Just hoping someone here who has already found one to address a similar problem sees the post and knows of one that addresses it.
