Calculator Issues With iPad Air - iPad OS18

Just got my iPad Air (M2) and updated to iPad OS18 and have been playing around with the new Calculator app. The above link is to a tutorial outlining the new capabilities of the app. The screenshot below shows -

so, a couple of questions arise -

Why, when both iPads are in horizontal orientation, does the tutorial show the plain Jane version while I have the scientific version? How can I get plain Jane in the horizontal orientation?

What about that annoying ad banner in my window? The tutorial isn't plagued by an ad. Any way to get rid of it as it does obscure vital parts of the window?

Yikes! You don't say! I downloaded what I thought was the Calculator that had all the bells and whistles mentioned in the tutorial. So how do I get my hands on the "Apple Calculator"? In the App store, there's lots of calculators available for download and I simply chose the one that most resembled what I thought was the Apple calculator. Obviously I'm wrong – so I would appreciate being told where to get the proper calculator.

Ah yes - you were right! The iPadOS18 Calculator app was indeed there all along. I just didn't notice it hiding out on the second screen which I rarely access and that's why I downloaded a calculator app from the app store which proved to be problematic. That one has been deleted, leaving me with the genuine calculator app. I'll study this one to learn its new features. Thanks so much for setting me straight on this.
