My iPhone 13 Pro Max 0.5 wide angle camera deactivated

Immediately after I updated to iOS 18, my iPhone 13 Pro Max 0.5 wide angle camera deactivated. Prior to that, it worked just fine with no problems. This seems to be rather universal so it's not just me and it's not a coincidence. Answers please. I checked my iPad Pro M2 Series after the iOS 18.1 update and the 0.5 wide to 5x lenses work just fine. It is possible that the non-silicon models create a problem for the update and the wide angle lens is sacrificed? I don't know but I do know I'm not the only one looking for answers.

Force Restart your phone. This may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence correct and the last step of holding the side button until the Apple logo appears could take up to 15 seconds. Ignore anything else you see on the screen until that time.
