My iPhone 15 Pro max has suddenly gotten stuck in SOS mode. Verizon service is working just fine on android phone also in my house. Have restarted phone, airplane mode for several minutes, nothing is working.

My iPhone 15 pro max is stuck in SOS mode all day since waking up. Tried everything that I could. I have Verizon as my service.
Same here: iPhone 15 Pro Max, Verizon. In NYC and got hit with this. Have also tried all the tricks, but no dice. Adding my voice here to further elevate this issue.
How do you think this will “elevate this issue”?

Mine isn’t even updated to 18 yet and it’s still stuck in sos but my work phone is a 14 and works fine
Same problem here. I have iPhone SE (3rd gen) running iOS 17.6.1. SOS only mode since about 12:30p EST
I'm from the Phoenix, AZ area and have an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18 and I'm also stuck on SOS mode. Just got stuck this morning at about 8:55 AM Arizona time.
That's crazy but it only seems to affect iPhone 15 and 16 versions. WHY???

Seems to be a nation wide problem with all carriers involving ESIM
