How Long Will Security Updates for macOS Monterey Be Provided?

Hello, we have several users on our network running macOS Monterey, and their machines are not upgradeable to macOS Ventura. I’d like to understand how long Apple will continue providing security updates for Monterey. I know that official support typically ends when a new macOS version is released, but security patches may extend beyond that. Can anyone provide insight into when security updates for Monterey are expected to stop? Thank you!

Pass history says that the 3 most recent major macOS release will receive security updates (Ventura 13, Sonoma 14, Sequoia 15 are the 3 most recent (30-Sep-2024)).

Monterey has become 4th, and except for rare situations, it is unlikely to get any more security updates.

We can't say for sure. I have seen security updates suddenly be released for an OS version that I had long expected to never see anything at all. Since Monterey just recently dropped yet another major OS version behind current, and has several in line ahead of it, it wouldn't surprise me if you didn't see anything more. It may be if Apple discovers an issue that it feels is really, really critical that it could still release an update. I certainly wouldn't anticipate any more feature updates, just maybe security ones if at all.
