Accessing and using text, google map and search when away from Wi-Fi

My iPhone 8plus recently stopped sending, receiving texts, accessing and using Google maps or using Google search when away from Wi-Fi connection. What could be the reason? Please help! Thank you,

I am unable to send/receive texts or connect to the internet even though my iPhone shows connected to Wifi I cannot access receiving text or sending text. I cannot log onto the Internet at all.
