I want to get some favorite songs from original music CD's into Standard MIDI Format (SDF). Objective is to transfer to a Yamaha PSR musical keyboard so as to play & sing along with.

Rampsell, iTunes/Music cannot do that. It is actually hairier than it sounds, since MIDI (unlike MP3, AAC, etc.) is coding music instructions, not audio. You can explore 3rd party tools.
