Can’t get out of the installing configuration

My ipad hasnt been used in a while and i charged it and turned it on and it randomly came up with CONFIGURING IPAD


”installing configuration from “corpus christi college”


profile installation failed


the SCEP server returned and invalid response”.


im not sure why it has done this as it used to be a school ipad now it is not the school shluld thearetically have nothing to do with it now.


what can i do?

Your iPad still being supervised indicates that a management profile is still present - and that the device is still centrally managed by an Enterprise or Educational establishment. Devices that are supervised/configuration locked by an MDM platform can usually only be released from central management by the platform that manages the device. Be aware that Apple will not assist with removal of management profiles.


Unless you are lucky - and have the option to delete the profile from iPad Settings - you’ll need to seek assistance directly from the System Administrator of the Educational establishment that manages the device.
