Lloyds Bank Apple Pay

Unable to respond to prior topic but thought I would post my update to this issue.

Having again had a transaction declined (was in an Apple Store) using Apple Pay and being hung up on my the Lloyds Bank Phone Support person I went into a branch to close my account down - was told by a very helpful chap that Lloyds has a £250 daily limit on Apple Pay but they don't advertise it and as I have found won't tell you this over the phone when the repeat Parrot fashion that your 'payment was declined due to reaching daily limits'

This is not even number of transactions - if you make one attempt to pay for something they decline then you can not use Apple Pay for the rest of the day.

Other UK banks either claim to have no limit or tell you the limit so Lloyds have just lost a long standing customer.

Additionally their phone staff try to tell you it's an Apple problem and to contact Apple!!! Despite Apple having nothing whatsoever to do with the processing of any payments via any Apple device.
