Treated extremely rudely by a senior manager
I called about a mishap in a purchase. I purchased an app that was suppose to be $14.99 per month. When I finished the purchase it came up as $129.99. I canceled immediately. My bank declined the charge cause it didn’t look familiar. I called Apple support and was told to allow the purchase to go through and they would refund me. I asked why they couldn’t cancel the or change the purchase to the right price. He said he didn’t have the authority to do that. He would get a senior manager on the phone call. He says he can guarantee a refund or anything else. He says I can use Apple credit from a gift card or Apple Card to pay it. So I ask would they be willing to do that. He basically was really rude and hung up in my face.
