Apple Watch lost while dead

I think I lost my Apple Watch, but Find My still shows my house as the last seen location. Does that mean no one has found it and tried to charge it, unlock it etc.? Is it possible to charge the watch and erase it before updating its location on Find My? I just don’t know if I actually lost it outside the house or it’s here somewhere.

Lost Apple Watch on Find my Essentially, I “lost” my Apple Watch a few days back. I never got the chance to charge it, and I thought it was just at home. When I went to go find it in my house, I can’t find it anywhere and I went insane. When I checked find my, the date it shows it last reported was two days earlier, which I’m assuming is when it died. Is there a way to find a lost Apple Watch at home without Find My App? I lost my Apple Watch at home and since the battery is off I cannot find it with Find It APP... could you help me to understand if there is an alternative way to find it? Thanks! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How can I use Find My to locate my lost Apple Watch SE? My son lost his Apple Watch a few days ago and the battery was dead at the time he lost it- it does have cellular service- not sure if that matters at all- as soon as I was made aware that he had lost it, I checked the “find my”app but the watch location was not coming up at all. I reported it as lost and for the past several days it just says “pending.” My question is, since there was a day or two between when it was lost and reported, could someone have found and changed it or erased it since “find my” was not active right away? The watch is passcode protected. Are they that easy to hack? Also wondering Is there anything else I can do other than activating the find my app and retracing steps? Thanks! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

The last location for your device will be displayed for 7 days, after that it can only be located, if it connects to a network again:
