Best practices to charge iPhone's battery?
I’m charging my iPhone to 80% and recharge when it goes 20% or above. Is it a best practice?

It depends on what your idea of "best" might be.
In theory, the 80% / 20% method might result in a bit better battery life over the years by maybe 2-3 months. But, you have to charge the phone more often since the battery will not go as long during the day when you begin with the phone at only 80% at the start of the day.
And....don't forget that the phone will still charge up to 100% "on occasion" in Apple's documentation. When I tried this for a few months, "on occasion" seemed to be 3-4 times a month, but I'm sure that this may vary with other users.
Frankly, my opinion is that the 80% / 20% method is more of gimmick than anything else. I think Apple added this option as a result of talk on the Internet from folks who think their battery will explode if it is charged to 100%.
If you enable Optimized Battery Charging on the phone and ignore the 80% limit, you can plug the power adapter into the phone at night and leave it connected all night.....every night. The battery charges normally up to 80%, then rests for a few hours and then very slowly trickle charges up to 100%.
I start each day with the battery at 100%. For me, that means that I can get 2-3 more hours from a single charge without having to charge the battery again during the day.
If the Optimized / 100% method might result in a couple of month less use on the battery over 4-5 years, I could care less. So, the Optimized / 100% method is "best" and also the simplest method for me.
You will have to decide what is "best" for you. Every choice involves a compromise of course. Watch for more "gimmicks" on future iOS updates. After all, if 80% / 20% is good, would not 70% / 30% be better?
