Free trial charge

I received a free 3-month trial subscription for Apple TV but I was charged the 9.99 immediately. Why was I charged? And how do I get refunded?

Most likely the promotion you saw was for new subscribers only and you had previously used a free trial. Check the details of the offer you received.

You can try and get a refund using this link, but refunds are not guaranteed.

Yes it was a free trial that ends in December. But I was charged.

As said, you may see a free trial that says it is for new subscribers in the fine print and if you sign up and have previously used a free trial before, then you will be charged.

  • Where did you see the promotion?
  • What were the details of the promotion?
  • Have you used an Apple TV free trial before?
