I recently purchased iPhone 16 series and MacBook Air. Earlier when the Photos were synced to iCloud the albums etc were same visible on iPhone as well. but now I see no albums being created on iCloud as I have made on my MacBook. Still left with 25% upload. but strangely I see pictures but no albums still. am I missing anything?

When syncing, the pictures are transferred first, and then the album structure.
Keep in mind that albums aren't real-- it's just a note on a picture. If you've "put a picture in" the Flower album and you also "put that picture in" the Orchid Show album, then what happens is that "Flower album" and "Orchid Show album" are attached to that picture in the Photos database. When you click on the little album-looking icon that says Flower, Photos shows you all the pictures that have "Flower album" in the database. The album, the group of pictures, doesn't exist until you click on it. So for Photos, the album doesn't have meaning until all the pictures are there.

Great! I, too, was confused when I first rushed to see what pictures had arrived, and I found no Albums. I'm still sad when that happens, but, thankfully, no longer confused! I just wait a bit…
