Just received the email return label. It also stated could still return directly at the Spple Store .
You may be able to return your iPad Air to an Apple Store instead of shipping it back, but it's best to confirm this directly with Apple. Give them a call to check the return options available to you.

I did my trade in at a store when the postal trade in offered a much reduced value and they gave me the higher value (because the device was covered by AppleCare).
