Why does't the new iPhone 16 Pro support Bluetooth connection with my MacBook Pro 2021? Both devices have the latests updates so what's the problem is not like I'm connecting Mac to Android. What is going on?

Macs and iPhones have never paired via Bluetooth, it's not supported. Bluetooth is used to establish a connection for file sharing, Wi-Fi hotspot setup, etc., but they don't formally pair. Why do you want them to?
Yes pretty much for file sharing. I was able to connect my X & 13 pro to both my MacBook pros 2012 & 2021 thru Bluetooth is funny you mentioned that but besides the fact that I can’t I was able to sync the iPhone 16 pro to my MacBook Pro 2021 via usb-c plug…..now my next question, would I be able to sync files from iPhone 16 to MacBook Pro wirelessly or would I still have to use the usb-c plug? Just want to be able to work with less items on my desk neat working lol.
You can use AirDrop to easily move files.
