BIG SHOUT OUT and a sincere thank you to turingtest2

Windows iTunes user for 10+ years, have always wanted to rebuild my iTunes library from scratch (93K tracks, 1895 playlists, 224 smart playlists, 65 playlist folders). I've exported the regular Playlists as M3U for years using ITunesExport and then I discovered your ImportFolderStructure.vbs script. I took a few hours to recreate the desired directory structure and moved the M3U files to appropriate directory. Started running the script last night and it's about 1/3 of the way through.

Import Folder Structure

1828 files were processed

2 track were skipped (already in playlists),

54688 tracks were added to the playlists,

3 non-media files were ignored,

52 playlist folders were created and

1825 playlists were added.

If only there was a way to do same thing with Smart Playlists. Exporting and importing them one by one is tedious

They’re quite similar to each other so I might be able to export one and edit the XML, either way I’m excited that my 12 year old iTunes library got an upgrade
