Condensation Being the Culprit:

• Keyboard Covers:

Do you use a keyboard cover? If so, condensation can most certain intensify, leading to gradual failure. So, I recommend avoiding use of a keyboard, all together.

• Dehumidifiers:

I use a dehumidifier being I use it in the lower level —you might want to look into using a dehumidifier yourself. Sending mine in for service, they questioned the liquid below the keyboard —and telling them that I’m in the lower level cooled them down on the phone, and they proceeded with the work. And keep away from keyboard covers, just for the note.

You can sell it or trade it in to get out from under it if you have future concerns.

If you keep— you have the option to "extend" your AppleCare+ warranty when it expires.

Multitasking being the Culprit:

High Memory and CPU Consumption:

Go here:  View memory usage in Activity Monitor on Mac: See what is using lots of memory and processor usage. Close whatever it is. Multitasking (running many apps simultaneously) can lead to failure, most certainly, because it puts lots of strain on the CPU.

With a dual-core processor, you may be running too many of these apps, or you may be performing things (i.e. playing multimedia) that is not intended for your device to work with.

So, with lots of items open at once, and not using a laptop cooler, excessive use of the computer may have lead to this. So, view the activity monitor.

Besides bad luck, it is also possible you are connecting an external device to the laptop that is causing damage to the Logic Board. Just something to consider.

You are describing evidence of two unrelated problems that just by chance, happened to YOU.

Apple sold around 20 million Macs last year, and your symptoms are unfortunate, but not indicative of any diabolical trend. They are caused by bad luck.

Even in the US, you can not trade in any Mac still for sale as new.

your issues were caused by bad luck, and now that your logic board has been replaced again, your luck should improve. If not, they will replace it again under AppleCare Plus for a modest co-pay.
