Delay in turning on/off

There's a delay when I tap the screen to wake or clicking the side button for on/off. Apple Pay, Guided Access and Accessibility Shortcuts are all disabled. Force restarting/removing widgets doesn't help either. My phone is 16pro which I just picked up yesterday and on ios 18.0.1 if that helps

New Iphone 15 Pro Max wont swipe up to unlcock or Shutdown after yesterday’s update I got an iphone 15 pro max yesterday and tried setting it up lasg night but it had to get a software update. This morning, I cant force it to shutdown or get it to swipe to unlock, when I swipe, the passcode page quickly comes up and disappears. What do I do?
