Apple search won’t work

Suddenly, when I hit “enter,” Apple TV fails to search or do anything. No search box, no search function on the phone, just a fat circle on the screen. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Can't use iPhone to type into Apple TV search bar after TVOS 17.5 update It used to be that whenever I opened a search page on an Apple TV app, whether it was the top-level search app or a search page in a streaming app, I'd get a prompt on my iPhone (if it was unlocked) allowing me to open an iPhone keyboard in the Remote app. Since the latest TVos update to 17.5, I still get this prompt, and when I tap on it the Remote app opens, but no keyboard appears. This makes search on the Apple TV extremely laborious, selecting every letter one by one. Anyone else seen this? Any known fix?

Why is my Apple TV app not working. I can get into the Home Screen but no videos play My Apple TV app on my fire stick is now playing videos. I see the howm screen and sometimes hear the video playing but the screen is black. It’s not the fire stick because everything else on other apps work perfectly. Please help. Apple TV App constantly fails on Samsung TV. Fails constantly on 2024 Samsung TV. The ONLY streaming app with this problem. I searched for solutions and all I find are unanswered / unresolved posts up to 4 years old presenting same issue. Seems to be a problem for years that Apple continues to neglect. Please fix this.

Is this about using search within any particular (streaming) app, or about using the Search app?
