I will just be sitting here, remote untouched, and the volume will go up a notch. I think it adjusts down too, but for sure it goes up. I noticed this issue was posted back in 2021 and went unanswered, yet me2 by 50 people.

As a test, does it stop if you cover the front of the remote?
As a test, does it stop if you keep the remote far away (out of bluetooth reach), or in a tin can?

A restart of just the remote has been known to solve the issue for some.
Else the remote may have a physical defect that causes it to keep sending a signal?

I’m having the same issue. It seems to happen most often with Apple Music but I just had it happen with the YouTube app.
