Passwords folder missing on iPad Air and iPhone since IOS update to 18.0.1

Passwords are working but the Passwords folder is missing from Settings on my iPad Air and iPhone XR, since the latest update to 18.0.1. Please advise how to access Passwords. Thank you.

Having updated to iOS/iPadOS 18.x, you will not find your saved Passwords in iPhone or iPad device settings. All saved passwords have been migrated to the new Passwords App.

You're very welcome.

Addition of the Passwords App - and loss of finding saved Passwords in device settings, will no doubt have caught many established users of iOS/iPadOS by surprise.

It is perhaps worth noting that your WiFi Passwords, in addition to being accessible in the Passwords App, remain accessible as before via device settings:

Settings > WiFi - tap the blue Edit button at top-right of the settings page

What password app? I don’t have one. Also, the settings/wifi/edit takes me to my networks I’ve used in the past, not passwords. Help!

The new Passwords App is only available to devices that have been updated to iOS/iPadOS 18.x.

As already outlined in my earlier reply, WiFi Passwords are accessible (exactly as before - per iPadOS 16/17) via device settings:

Settings > WiFi - tap the blue Edit button at top-right of the settings page
